New rules in the cosmetology world have come to Get Gorgeous!
Cosmetology operators and salon owners must now complete a 4 hour class on laws, rules, health, safety, and sanitation before they can renew their license in the State of Minnesota.
Ilka, Get Gorgeous Salon's owner and head stylist, is the first of our team to take this course. After 6 hours of instruction (the Salon Spa Professional Association had such an intense amount of information the class went well beyond the required 4 hours!), Ilka came back to Get Gorgeous with plenty of new sanitation standards.
We've started implementing them around the salon. These new guidelines are in place to keep you healthy and safe. You can trust the styling tools and combs and the facilities are cleansed thoroughly and up to the latest health and safety standards.
We are so grateful that we had a stylist up for license renewal so soon after the new regulation has gone into effect. Ilka as the owner, has been able to bring all of our stylists up to the same level well before they would take the class themselves.
